The ASF Bio Slit Lamp Slx – 3I is a stereoscopic biomicroscope designed for comprehensive ophthalmic examinations. It emits a focused beam of light with variable height, width, and angle, serving as a key tool for ophthalmologists to closely examine the anterior segment and internal structures of the eye. This instrument facilitates the determination of eye health and the detection of various eye diseases.
Featuring computer-designed, multi-coated optics, the ASF Bio Slit Lamp Slx – 3I provides unsurpassed viewing of ocular structures. Its design maximizes the operator’s field of view, enabling precise visualization of ocular defects at the periphery. The device utilizes Halogen illumination, with a filter disc that includes Red Free (Green) for enhanced observation.
This slit lamp permits 3-dimensional visualization and measurement of the fine anatomy of the adnexa and anterior segment of the eye. It is suitable for an overall survey of the eye, lids, lashes, caruncle, sclera, surface vessels, and media opacities, as well as for detailed views of corneal layers to gauge the depth of lesions and areas of thinning. The system also supports the assessment of cells and flare in the aqueous humor.
